QR codes in Rio De Janeiro

Rio De Janeiro is a city in Brazil. They are putting QR (quick response) codes on the pavement. A QR code is a black and white code that if you take a picture of it with your smart phone then it tells you information about where you are.QR codes were invented by a car industry in Japan in 1994.They were put in  Rio De Janeiro last year in May,so that tourists have more information about were they are. This connects to class because we are learning about geographic landforms. In Brazil they are giving  information about landforms in a unique way.
